The ancient Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu is one of the world's most important heritage sites. A place of unforgettable sunrises and magical moon nights located at the top of Aguas Calientes, just in the heart of the valley of the Incas. Enjoy a 7-night stay with daily breakfast at an amazing selection of hotels in Peru, and a journey on a celebrated train.

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrival Day – Lima – Miraflores Park

Welcome to Peru! Enjoy the night at Miraflores Park. Set in a verdant garden, Miraflores is a true urban sanctuary beside the city’s cultural gems. Come evening, ascend to the rooftop pool for a sunset dip. The ocean views will take your breath away. Colonial architecture, superb museums with Inca gold and Pre-Columbian antiquities, and glamorous shops, bars, and restaurants are all just moments from the hotel.

Day 2 – Lima to Cusco - Monasterio

After taking a short hour-and-a-half domestic flight from Lima to Cusco, you will arrive at Monasterio for the night. Just moments from Plaza de Armas and one of the most unique hotels in Cusco. Experience the thrill of staying in a protected national monument. Discover inspired restaurants and boutique rooms, all clustered around a tranquil central courtyard.

Days 3 through 5 – Cusco to Machu Picchu – Sanctuary Lodge

Enjoy the observatory car, a welcome cocktail, and lunch, as you embark on a round-trip journey from Cusco to Machu Picchu aboard the elegant Hiram Bingham Train.  Enjoy the observatory car, a welcome drink at the open bar, lunch, and folkloric dances at the station. Transportation to the Citadel, entrance fee, and a guide in Spanish or English are included. After the tour, enjoy teatime at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel, your hotel for the next 3 nights with full board.

Sanctuary Lodge is the only hotel adjacent to Machu Picchu, the sacred Inca citadel.  Have a chance to be one of the first to see sun-dappled Huayna Picchu without the crowds, unwind with a yoga session, or take part in a traditional shaman ceremony in the garden. Tranquility, wonder, and beauty are at the heart of this unique experience.

Day 6 – Machu Picchu to Cusco – Monasterio

Begin the journey back to Cusco today aboard the celebrated Hiram Bingham. Find your favorite place in the observatory car for your welcome cocktail and enjoy dinner as you make your way along the mountains. Arrive back in Cusco and your overnight stay at Monasterio.

Day 7 – Cusco to Lima – Miraflores Park

Return to Lima after your return flight from Cusco and back to Miraflores Park Hotel, right in the heart of the capital city for your last night.
