Description
Let's take a walk down memory lane. For those of you who remember CHUM radio, they had a weekly chart. The first #1 song on the CHUM Chart was "All Shook Up" by Elvis Presley, debuting on May 27, 1957. The CHUM Chart, initially named CHUM's Weekly Hit Parade, ran for 1,512 consecutive weeks, from 1957 to June 14, 1986. The final number-one song was "Live to Tell" by Madonna.
Ken and Glenda Metrick have kindly donated a very unique plaque which includes the titles and artists of 694 songs that were #1 hits on the CHUM chart between 1957 and 1986.
For all you music lovers, here is a great piece of memorabilia for you.
