Description

This Victorian mahogany bedroom set epitomizes timeless elegance and durability. Intricately carved with ornate embellishments, its rich mahogany wood exudes craftsmanship of unparalleled beauty. Paired with a unique metal box spring, that allows you to adjust the tension, this ensemble blends style with robust support, ensuring a restful slumber while preserving the antique’s integrity.

Complementing the bed frame is a matching dresser and mirror, echoing its regal design. The dresser, adorned with woodwork and metal accents, offers generous storage space while the mirror adds sophistication to the ensemble. Together, they evoke the grace and grandeur of the Victorian era.

Kevin Dunlop, Coordinator of the Last Chance Project, spent 8 hours cleaning, restoring, and repairing this set. It was destined for the landfill, and now it has been returned to its former glory, ready for a new life!

Get ready to bid for a purpose! SIRCH Community Services is thrilled to announce our online auction, where every item has a story of community generosity and skilled craftsmanship. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we've gathered a few items, each lovingly fixed, restored or refinished by our talented Woodworker, Kevin Dunlop, Coordinator of the Last Chance Project.

Kevin dedicated 16 of hours of work cleaning, repairing and then applying his Marquetry skills to a local Cedar Chest that was donated. The Marquetry feature is an outstanding depiction of a lovely canoe floating on the water! A lovely representation of the Haliburton Highlands.
